A couple years ago, I started experimenting with drawing on the go using my finger as a stylus on my iPhone. Riding the Subway every day for a few weeks gave me ample inspiration. This series was born. It was done before COVID made riding the subway a completely different experience. Hopefully, navigating crowded train rides will be a normal part of our lives again soon, but for now, these portraits bring back the colorful experience I miss so much.
